Well, It’s already Thanksgiving here in Canada, I can’t believe it! It just felt like it was the beginning of Summer, now this! Time is going by tooooo fast if you ask me.
But I can’t complain because I love Thanksgiving, I love the crispy air, wearing stretchy pants to dinner and eating so much, you feel like a rolling potato by the end of it. Catching up with family and falling asleep by 8 because the turkey made you real sleepy.
This year and basically every year there is so much to be thankful for. I thought since we are in the spirit of thanks, why not share with all of you what I’m thankful for.
I’m thankful for my metabolism, with how much I eat…let’s just say I’m surprised I don’t weigh more. I know a few of my friends and family can agree on that, i’m not one to hold back lol!!
I’m thankful for the dollar store, love getting those birthday and special celebrations cards for a buck. I don’t know how people can spend $5 or more on a card knowing it’ll be thrown out or never looked at again. If they tell you otherwise, it’s a lie and they can’t be trusted!!
I’m thankful for dry shampoo. I know you girls can agree! It makes you look like you have your shit together, which is important.
I’m thankful for Netflix and Hayu, If you don’t know what Hayu is than you need to get away from the rock you’ve been hiding under. All your favourite reality TV shows at your very own finger tips. Talk about binge watching heaven!
I’m thankful for gluten-free food. Without it I couldn’t eat shit.
I’m thankful for my older brother, without him I couldn’t get away with a lot of stuff and blame him for it. Sorry bro!
I’m thankful for fuzzy pajamas, socks and blankets. Without all the fuzz I wouldn’t be as warm and heart-felt as you think.
And saving the best for last, I’m thankful for wine. Plain and simple.
But in all seriousness I am very thankful for my family and friends. Everything they have done for me and supported me in everything I do. I seriously wouldn’t know what to do without them. I’m thankful for my overall health and knowing everyone I love is healthy brings nothing but pure joy in my life. I’m also thankful for Shayne for actually dealing with all my crazy, weird thoughts that I just blurt out of the blue. Also for Shayne’s family, for everything they have done for me is truly a blessing! Last but not least, I’m thankful for you guys, my readers. I can’t thank you guys enough for engaging with me and your outgoing support!!
Hope all my Canadian readers has a great Thanksgiving weekend with your friends and family! If you like, please feel free to comment below on what you’re thankful for. I love reading your guys comments!
